Question: I need help, i dont know if i should be worried or not?
Ok, I found a pea sized red bump in my pubic hair, just at the start of the vagina, I've never had sex, I'm thinking that its an ingrown hair. I'm not too worried about it, but it started peeling yesterday, slowly the pain is going away. But the bump is not receding. I usually ignore things like this because they tend to go away. Should I be worried? I'm not touching it or anything so as to not make it worse, what should I do?

It may just be an ingrown hair but I would still get it looked at as those contain pus which could infect your vagina. It's better to be safe than sorry!

possibly a boil they fade after a few days or even a week. you should have a dr check it out it may become abscessed or infected. boils can be caused by tight clothes rubbing on the area and the same can be said for ingrown hair. don't take this the wrong way but you should shave down there every once in a while and pay special attention when showering avoid bath beads or oil containing bodywash. or at least trim especially if you wear tight clothes if you let your skin breathe they shouldn't reoccur. (low rise jeans and a belt ear the worst)

If you shave down there and have not had any sex of any kind it more than likely is an ingrown hair. Don't just let it go away though! Pop it like a pimple and then pull the ingrown hair out so you can let it heal and make sure it doesn't come back!
