painful lump near vagina. please answer q!?!

Question: Painful lump near vagina. please answer q!?
i didnt notice it recently until today in the shower. it just looked like a bump on the surface, but when i squeezed it, i felt a hard small pea sized lump. there was some pain when i squeeze it. slightly red, with no sign of pus as of now

im stil a virgin, but two months ago, my boyfriend gave me oral (once)
recently, about a month ago, i went for a wax

the lump is located on the labia majora, (the outer lips) close to my thigh

could if be a pimple or worse? and, i have never experienced this before..
is it even possible for such a huge pimple to grow near the vagina? does anyone have a similar experience?

im quite worried and confused

Answers:

Do you shave or wax your bikini line/area?
An ingrown hair is the likely culprit, and it may or may not get a head on it like a pimple to pop. You could try a warm compress to help draw it out.
Or, if you had tight clothes on or worked out or somehow otherwise had friction from walking etc. down there, you could have developed an ingrown hair or boil (even if you don't shave/wax).
If it is painful and doesn't go away with either warm compresses or after a week or so, see a doctor. They can lance it to drain it if it is a problem.

It's pretty normal, and probably nothing to worry about!

probably an ingrown hair from the wax. i wouldnt worry about it unless it gets bigger, then go see a doctor =]

sounds like it's from the waxing. an ingrown hair.

i use to get that when waxing too
