Just tell your mom. I'm sure it will make you feel alot better. She'll tell you all you need to do and how to cope with periods.

Oh, hell YES you will use tampons. I guarantee it.

It is a bit unnerving placing something inside your vagina for the first time - but believe you me, once youhave used a tampon, you will never go back.

Tell your mother you'd like her help inserting one for the first time. Once you see how comfortable it is, and how easy it is to put in and take out, you can do it yourself. Trust me - an occasion will arise where you won't want to have a bulky maxi pad underneath your clothes, bathing suit, basketball shorts, leotard - whatever.

Nothing to be scared of, and why on Earth would you NOT want to tell your mother? It's exciting, and you could use some help. Don't be embarassed - your Mom's been menstruating for a long time, you're not going to phase her.

hello :) i started mine a year ago and i was dead worried aswell. just get yoyr sister to tell your mum when your not there so she can help you out. i would recomend (for night) 2 nightime always pads. i get really heavy periods and these are the only ones that will work for me. dont get cheap pads because they wont work. i would recomend you to stick with always (and the winged ones help the pad stayin place). dont worry about it and just make sure you change your pad regulary at school to avoid leaks :)

Let your mum know! It might seem a little embarrassing at first but she won't see it as a big deal unless you make it one. It's better that your mum knows so she can go buy you your own liners instead of taking your sisters'! :)

jus tell her babe, periods r jus a normal part of growin up (unfortunatly LOOL)

Just tell her. There's nothing to worry about.

just tell her! she'll be like aaawwwww

it is very scary the first time but after a while you will get use to it
