does getting a pap-smear hurt ?!

Hi Jackie.. It's uncomfortable more than anything and I personally believe it's more out of embarrassment. The only tip I can give you is to relax and concentrate on your breathing like you would if you did yoga.

More uncomfortable than anything. All I can say is just to relax, and sure to breath! Doesn't hurt though. :)

No. I've never had any discomfort at all. No big deal - it's 3 minutes out of your life, once a year!
