Are tampons suppossed to hurt when you sit down or cross your legs?!

Question: Are tampons suppossed to hurt when you sit down or cross your legs?
I've only ever used tampons like 2 times before that i can remember, and I just started using them now, but it's not really hurting sitting down anymore, but now i can't cross my legs! sorry not trying to be gross but i'm just wondering, is it suppossed to hurt the first time you use them??

Answers:

No! you just need to take it out and put it in farther! :) here is how!:

1.take the old one out

2.wash hands

3.Get a new tampon

4.open the lips

5.push it in!

Nope, actually you shouldn't be able to feel tampons at all once they're inside of you. If you can feel them it means one or two thing. it's not been inserted far enough or at the right angle. Which is normal, especially if you're new to using tampons. You have to relax your muscles down there and kinda insert it towards your pelvic bone. It takes some getting used to but in time, you won't even notice you're wearing one.

If used correctly, you should not feel the tampon when you do anything. You are not pushing the tampon in far enough. Make sure you are relaxed when inserting the tampon so it will go in far enough.

Hello
Nope they're not supposed to hurt, its probably because you haven't pushed it up far enough. When it is further up you can't feel it at all. :)

you are probably not using them properly when i first started using them i had the same problem... they were not far enough up... it sounds gross but its true.

personal

if it hurts or is uncomfortable then you dont have it in far enough. youre not supposed to feel the tampon at all.

no there not supposed to hurt you probbebly havent put it up far enough

i used to have the same problem! no, it will get better as you become better at inserting them.
