Question: I have lump and pain in my breast, help?
Hi, im 14 years old and im haven't fully developed into a woman. I have a pain in my left breast when i touch it, it feels like a bruise and when i feel it, it feels like there is a lump when i press on my nipple, im really worried about it because at first i thought it was because my breasts were developing but i don't see how it can b because it is only in one of my breasts and not the other and it is painful when i touch it, please can anybody help?

You are very young to have breast cancer, if that is your chief concern. Have you gotten your period yet? Often girls' breasts get sore (or sometimes just one) before or during menstruation. Monitor it for the next two weeks and if it persists, ask your mother to take you to your doctor's.

dont worry sweetheart the lump you are feeling is your breast muscle developing, and sometimes that can happen only 1 or the other hurt and sometimes both do, I wouldnt worry your body is just growing and you will see and feel lots of changes;)

Talk to your mum or a female that your close to, if your really concerned consult ur gp or doctor. A lump could indicate many things and in young women most of the time are non cancerous lumps yet to be on the safe side id check with a doc.

You realy need to go get it checked out it could be breast cancer or a tomor but that's really rare but just to be on the safe side.

Tell your parents and go see a doctor.
