No hun this is not normal and i would advise her to go see a different GP to get a second opinion, there's normally more than one doctor in a practice and she is perfectly within her rights to go see one ofthe others and get their opinion, if you feel she is worse or you become worried take her to A&E to be seen to, good luck x

She needs to see another doctor. Coughing up blood is not good. If you could get a a sputum sample in a clean container then show it to a doctor or er would help them figure it out.
