Me and my boyfriend had sex two nights ago and it really hurt. The pain stopped when he pulled out but later that night i noticed that it was uncomfortable down there. I got a mirror and looked and i have a tiny tear between the vagina and butthole and another along the side of the vagina. Its really uncomfortable and I was wondering what you guys have done to help the pain and irritation. I know its gonna take a couple days to heal but what can i do to make it less uncomfortable down there. It really hurts to pee also. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Answers:

Wash it carefully with a clean cloth and cool water. It'll sooth the irritation quite a bit. Whatever you do don't put antibacterials down there. There's a certain balance of bacteria and yeasts that live in that area and if you disturb the balance you could actually get a yeast infection.

Nothing to do except try some ointments maybe, like Neosporin. Otherwise, time is the best medicine.

Been there. Usually it just takes a day or two off (unfortunately) to heal and you'll be fine.
