HELP IS THERE SMTHN WRONG WITH MY PERIOD?!
Question: HELP IS THERE SMTHN WRONG WITH MY PERIOD?
Answers:
From what I have read, and I have 4 sisters I am very close with you may need to go see a Doctor. Also you never mentioned if you are currently on some form of birth control or if you are sexually active. Just from reading this several things come to mind.
1. You could be conceiving and aborting without your knowledge, one of my sisters experienced this several times.
2. You could be suffering from cysts
3. If you are on a form of birth control it could be causing clotting in which case yes you need to see a doctor.
Never be afraid to seek out a doctors care. If money or insurance is an issue the local health department will be more than happy to help you.
I hope this helps and is resolved.
Yes the first few years are fine and then bam out of nowhere these voltages of ache and pain. Just go to your primary doctor and get a check-up and they will give you even more helpful advice. I am 18 so I am young just like you it started happening to me I would get irregular periods and horrible aches I went to the doctors their only advice was midol because they didn't find anything wrong. You should get a check up though to make sure.
I'm glad I'm not the only one but I'm usually regular I get my period every 23 days and had intercourse 2 weeks ago (pullout method ) and today will be my 3rd day beeing delayed with 5 days of cramps and 3 days of ligth light yellowish discharge but then changed to clear called doctor same day It was due and have an apt in two wks hope its no STD good luck and go to doc as well
if u r a virgin,,ur hymen may be blocking ur periods...go to a DOCTOR
Have you been under a lot of stress? Stress can delay or make a girl skip her period. You can still get the cramps really bad though.
Or if you had unprotected sex and are not on some sort of birth control I would take a pregnancy test.
But I would go see your doctor. If this has been going on for a long time then something can be wrong. But if they say it's nothing serious at least it was worth it to go. They might ask you if you want to go on birth control (if your not on any) because it can help reduce the cramping (mine helped me with my horrible cramps) and can help regulate your period. My sister experienced something similar to what you are having when they found she had a cyst on her ovaries.
