How can I get my "extreme" pms under control?!

Question: How can I get my "extreme" pms under control?
One a month right before I get my period I am in the WORST mood. I tend to be very snippity and mouthy to others. I get annoyed like, automatically with everyone and I can't help it. No matter how much I tell myself to not get mean, just take a deep breath and deal with things, I can't. It just does not occur to me. Most of the rest of the month I am happy and bubbly and I rarely get this way. But once a month I piss people off and I don't want to, because it puts a strain on my relationships with people. I can't keep using the excuse "I was pmsing, im really sorry i cant help it". Is there any way i could stop this!? Ive tried telling myself to stop and that does NOT work. If birth control would help, thats out of the question because I am 14 and my mom would not let me have that. So please help me! :/

Your mother's right, birth control can have some nasty side effects as a result of stuffing your body with artificial hormones.

I suggest starting evening primrose oil capsules, these can really help. Well, I found them very helpful! You have to take them every day.

It's also a good idea to start taking multivitamins and minerals, eat properly, get plenty of sleep and take plenty of exercise.

Firstly talk to your mum there's no readon why you can't have birth control it isn't just fir preventing babies. However I would investigate herbal remedies first. Evening primrose oil and aunts castus are 2 I know of that can assist you in this
You can stop yourself we all get it and it is easy to stop yourself you need to try a bit harder
