the pill question????!

Question: The pill question????
hi, i have never told anyone this not even th doctor, so would like to know what you would do if you was in my situation, basically, i have brown discharge every month witch im Pretty sure is my period because its stringy and gooey and has light blood with it. is it normal for the brown discharge to be once every month though? (like a period) secondly i was thinking about going on the pill (can get this from the younger peoples Information shop in the local town) i understand that you are soupost to take the pill for the first time on the first day you come on your period, so do i take it when i get the brown/light red discharge or will it make much difference if i just take it when i first get given the pill? even if im not on my period or no brown discharge. i know what people are going to say.. go to a doctor but i don't feel comfortable talking about it. the type of pill i mean is the green packet one with the yellow tablets and the white ones at the bottom, please comment!

It sounds as if your periods are hardly established. This may mean that you are currently not a good candidate for the pill as it may stop your periods altogether, This series of events sometimes results in women failing to ovulate at all when they stop the pill. At 15 sex with you is of course illegal.

EDIT It might be better if you took the opportunity to try and improve your grammar and spelling.

GP for more years than I care to remember

No, you don't start the pill the day your period starts.
Grow up and go to the doctor and talk about this with him. Seriously.

If you are old enough to go on the pill you are old enough to talk to your doctor.
