Go to a doctor. That sounds like vaginosis, a bacterial vaginal infection, but a lot of things can have those symptoms. As to the smell, you really don't want to put anything on your genitals because it can cause or worsen infections, or cause an allergic reaction.
Yes you do. Go get an OTC remedy...ask the pharmacist.
Other tips...have your girlfriend brush her teeth and use Listerene before she goes down on you next time. Her germs gave you the infection.
