Yesterday my bf and I lost our virginity. Is it normal after intercourse, that now I feel like going to the bathroom a lot to pee since yesterday!? I mean alot, but sometimes nothing comes out. Also, it still feels like somethings inside the vagina, doesnt hurt but bothers...Just wanted to know whats "normal" to feel after first time, even though its differnt for each person, and hope Im not worrying to much becasue of this. thanks!

You said you feel like you need to go but can't. Does your bladder feel full even though you can't pee? If so, that sounds like a UTI is starting. It's completely normal for a woman to get a UTI while having sex for the first time (or even many times after it). Also if it burns or stings when you go pee that's also a symptom of getting a UTI.

Edit: This is just me personally, I always go to the doctor at the first signs of a UTI. I don't wait it out with water or cranberry juice. It's completely up to you if you want to try water and cranberry juice method, but if it were me, I'd go to my family doctor whenever you can and get medicine to clear it up. I've had one too many bad UTIs to wait for the cranberry juice kick in.

The standard doctor visit for a UTI is peeing in a cup. And wait a few minutes for them to test it there and tell you if you have one not. They give you a prescription (usually two; 1 to take away the pain while urinating and the second one to get rid of the UTI) and you're good to go.

Usually first time intercourse results in a UTI. Just drink lots of water or cranberry juice, then you get all the urine out and then it clears up after a day or so if you catch it in time. :)

This is also called "honeymoon cystitis"...or UTI. It probably won't pass. You can go to a Walgreens or CVS pharmacy clinic and they can test and prescribe meds.

uti deffently thay have over the counter stuff or you can go to the doctor but dont just leave it alone
