Puking since I've been taking birth control?!

Question: Puking since I've been taking birth control?
I'm fifteen. I started taking birth control pills three days ago. I take them at around 10pm, the time I go to bed. Each night I've woken up at about 3am and I've had to puke. Then when I wake up at 5:30 to go to school, I'll need to puke again. But I'll be fine for the rest of the day.

Is this just my body getting used to the pill, or should I see my doctor to switch to a different pill?

Answers:

If you are puking after taking it, it is not staying in your system. And definatly not going to work the way intended. I used to take the pill for pcos. Same thing was happening to me. I changed my diet and started exercising and my problems are nearly gone now:)

Talk to your mom and make an appointment to go see the doctor. You may be allergic to the pill (it's rare, but possible). You may have to change the pill, or try a different type of hormone therapy. Good luck!

Are you sure you're not pregnant?

Edit: Then you should definitely go back to your doctor. Birth control can make you nauseous, but that sounds excessive.

Maybe you should see your Doctor about this, sooner than later.

You should see your doctor.
