I want to be an obstetrician not an OB/GYN...?!

Question: I want to be an obstetrician not an OB/GYN...?
Do you really have to do both? The idea of looking at infected vagina all day everyday seems horrific. Or am I being unreasonable? Please help :)

Answers:

in some countries you can be only obstetrician - but if you wish to be a good doctor, you should be OB/GYN - it is not only infected vagina, you should treat infertility, help women with contraception, treat hormonal diseases, etc. - discover all in links below

I see a gynecologist who no longer delivers babies so why not? You will have to learn both in school no doubt but after graduation as long as you have enough work to earn a living go for it!
