Why do women whinge about their periods so much?!

Many women get cramps from her uterus contracting, this can cause quite a bit of pain. Along with cramps, there are many things that us women do not tell you because it is embarrassing, I don't want to ruin men's whole fantasy land, but females are not quite as cute as they seem. Periods often cause diarrhea and bad farts.

The vagina smells during a women's period. This can make many women feel disgusting. With the blood (yes, even when you wear a tampon) the vagina feels wet. This creates a "rubbing feeling" when they walk.

Are you aware that tampons hurt? They can often push on the bone inside of the women and it hurts to walk.

Hormones are real. All women have them. This is why they "whine". They can't help it, it is in our nature. These feelings help us to become great mothers though because it helps you to be more understanding.

It is hard to sleep when you are on your period.

Last but CERTAINLY not least, you CAN feel the blood. It is not just blood, it is blood cells and tissue. so when the blood comes out it comes in GUSHES. It feels like a big loogy taking forever to come out when your trying to live your life.

It is gross but true, periods cause many digestive and emotional problems but you can't have babies unless you have them, and almost any women would go through it to have a family :) Please be more open minded, once you look at it, it really is much harder than it looks.

are you serious? let me educate you. some women get serious symptoms, such as cramps, headaches, stomach aches, etc. others don't have as serious symptoms - I'm fortunately one of them. and it's just not bit of blood - it's usually a lot of blood.

you don't have to spend money for menstrual products. i don't use tampons and only use pads. you don't have to worry about freaky accidents, such as accidentally staining your pants while out in public. this happened to me at work and i had to rush to the bathroom to wash the stain out of my favorite jeans. sadly, the stain didn't come out completely. luckily, i had a spare pants to wear. i washed those favorite jeans, and the stain stayed intact. be grateful you don't have to go through this.

The inner lining of the uterus is called the endometrium. The endometrium sheds during menstruation. In addition to endometrial tissue, your menstrual flow also contains blood and mucus from the cervix and vagina.

It actually hurts way more than we let it seem. stop being an insensitive ***. its not a fun thing having to go through a week trying to live life with a massive migraine, back cramps that hurt constantly without stopping,having to change tampons constantly and to top it off having your insides carved out!

And for you girls that don't feel much pain. it'll get worse. i didn't always have such bad periods.

And...You know it doesn't hurt...How? You being a guy and all. Seriously, you're a guy, you will *never* understand, so why don't you um...Get over it?

Why do men whinge about women having their periods so much? It's not like it affects them or anything.

What do you have in your life that could EVER compare to bleeding for 3-7 days(''a bit of blood''?!?!?!? Hmmm...You really DON'T know anything, do you?), all the while feeling like you are being stabbed in the stomach, going to vomit or poop your pants(or both at the same time), rip your bf's head off for saying insensitive things(such as what you have said), break down in tears over the slightest thing and pass out all at once?

I'm a 21 year old female who HATES her period so much so, she uses birth control to avoid it.

YOU don't have to deal with ALOT of blood coming out your freakin butt.
YOU don't have to shove a little tampon up your butt every few hours.
YOU don't have to have horrible pains that most painkillers won't even help.
I have really bad PMS. Everything hurts my back down. My hips and legs THROB with pain.
Sometimes I can't even walk it hurts so bad.
I get so constipated and have to sit on the toilet ALL day.
And blood GUSHES out complete with tissue that would make up a baby if you were pregnant.

"It's not like it hurts or anything?" What the ....? Of course it does, for most of us! If you actually are a woman, and you don't have any pain on your period, whoop-dee do for you.

When I'm on mine, for the first day I get cramps and diarrhea. One of my best friend gets cramps so bad she curls up on her floor and cries (from PAIN). So yeah, I think us women have a right to complain.

I can tell you that my period is the most painful thing ever normally on the first day i cannot go to work or school because i get physically ill. If i stand up or really move i feel like i will throw up. It is very painful and IMPOSSIBLE to get comfortable i will be comfortable for a second and as soon as i breath i become sore again. I don't have any mood changes or anything like that just a pain that seems to never end and makes for what seems like the worst day of your life every month.

Dude I agree. Im a girl and so far it's really not a burden in my life. I'm pretty toleran of things like this though. For some girls, it really does hurt a lot and the back and abdomen cramps can be absolutely unbearable. Have some respect for what us girls go through! It isn't as easy as we make it look, we r jut tough cookies :p

It does hurt though, it's called cramps. Cramps can be very painful. Periods are awful, and having the burden of changing your tampon every few hours is annoying. Think about it.

Idk.. Im a girl And im not allowed to act any different when im on it.. my friend takes temper tantrums... it does hurt but for me its nothing to complain over so yeah.. Idk haha

I think you know very well why girls complain about it (rightly so might I add) and you are just trying to get a reaction. Grow up.

Some girls get really bad cramps or feel sick, etc. Others don't have as many symptoms. I'm from the second group :)
