When I'm on my period, blood comes out of my anus. Is this normal?!

see you are really not bleeding from anus
you are actually bleeding from vagina
what happens is that whenever you sleep you lay and the blood flows from that place to back wards so you think that you bleed from anus

Are you sure that you're bleeding from your anus? If so then you should definately tell your parents and go to a doctor about this. Menstrual bleeding is only supposed to come from your vagina, so this is pretty serious. Better get to the bottom of this as soon as possible. (You should probably approach your mom one on one about this at first if you feel uncomfotable talking about it with your parents).

It might just be that the blood is sort of...over-flowing from your vagina and going around your anus, and when you wipe, it seems like the blood is coming from there. This worried me when my period first started.

But if you are sure it's not this and you ARE bleeding from the anus, tell your parents and get it checked by a doctor as soon as possible

It's not normal to bleed from your anus. Perhaps what is happening is the blood from your vagina is soaking up at the back of your pad. That usually happens when you sleep with a pad. You could go to the doctor just to be sure.

haha that happens to everyone. it runs to the back naturally. its not ACTUALLY comming out from back there so dont worry about it :)
