Does this sound serious?!

Question: Does this sound serious?
Ok, so I have an outer vaginal itch. This has been going on for about 3 or 4 days. At first I thought it would go away, but it won't. It's not that intense, but it itches enough to make me wonder if I have a problem. It doesn't burn when I pee, I'm a virgin so I don't have any STDs, and I also have a small bump on my right labia. I just noticed the bump today, so it hasn't been there that long.
But here's the thing: it only itches at night. I have no idea why, but I think it might be because I wear jeans during the day and looser fitting pants at night, maybe? That's the only reason I can think of.
My period is due next week and I'm afraid it'll be even more uncomfortable then, so I want to get rid of it soon if I can. I don't know if this helps, but I'm 13 and I don't shave there (I trim, though). I don't really want to tell my mom unless I have to. And I do wash well.
Can anyone relate to this or help me please? Any helpful info is appreciated.
Oh, and if you need any extra info I can add details. Thanks :)

That's how i am when i have a yeast infection. But it depends on the severity of the itch..They itch more at night than in the day, i don't know why but they do.. Also, when i had a yeast infection, i didn't have ALL the symptoms, just some. Get monistat over the counter, not vagisil. Because when i used vagisil, it took longer and almost always came back. If you don't know, go to the doc to be sure, they can also give you an oral treatment, which is much easier than the creams.. if it is a yeast infection, eat lots of yogurt. the bacteria in the yogurt will help balance the bacteria down there quicker..
good luck (:

It might just be irritated, or because the hair? Sometimes I get that, but its because I shave... If you have just one bump you will be ok, it could just be acne.. acne is everywhere on some people... but if theres more, you should talk to your mom about it. Maybe, try shaving it all? See if that is the problem, if that doesn't help, call planned parenthood, or talk to your mom.

Use vagisil, it relives vaginal itching.

Hey this happens to me too! I dont know why, but its completely normal :) try using Vagisil, it really helps the itch.

I promise you will all benefit a healthier vulva if you just tell your mom!

because last year in march, I had the exact same problem and I told my mom and she took me to my family Doctor and I had to take my pants off and undies and he took a Sample by sticking this metal thing up my...yea and he ask me if it hurt and I was like nope.. but then again my mom was there to help and I was fine..
