It's normal not to feel anything - the point of masturbation is to learn what feels good.

If you're doing something that doesn't feel good to you then that's fine, it just means you need to try something else and don't force it, explore and see what feels good. Some girls only really get off on clitoral stimulation, others only on vaginal penetration or g-spot stimulation, some will prefer rubbing where as others prefer stroking - it's all about what feels good to you.

Guilt is semi-normal - girls often grow-up with ideas from family, friends, and media telling them that being sexual or touching down there is a bad thing, that it's naughty or sinful in some way, it's actually the most healthy and normal thing a person can do. Getting those negative ideas thrown at you, no matter how subtle, can effect how you feel about masturbation so you feel guilty because on some level you've been taught it's a bad thing to do.

Remember that babies still within their mothers womb touch themselves, as we grow older the meaning behind it changes from being something we do to relax or because it is fun to something more sexual, and that's fine. Masturbation is a great way to relieve stress and sexual tension, the only form of safe sex, enjoyable, helps you explore your body to care for sexual health and to make sure that if you have sex you can have pleasurable sex and get aroused enough to avoid pain or damage during intercourse. For girls masturbation also helps induce periods, ease menstrual cramps, induce labour or ease labour pains if you have children too, so lots of benefits.

it's perfectly normal to masturbate; there's no reason you should be feeling guilty right now. i can't explain why you didn't feel anything, but my guess is that you were too caught up with guilt to explore the sensual side of masturbation. i know it sounds weird... but everyone around you has likely masturbated at least once in their life. :P

also, what technique did you use? considering you haven't done this before, it's possible you might not have been doing it right.

It's normal. I'm sure your parents would much rather hear that your masturbating than having sex! It's just a way to skive off sexual feelings, so that you don't go crazy. Obviously not all girls masturbate, because not all girls have as strong sexual urges as you might. But then again, everybody is different. I'm a 13 year old girl and i don't think it's wrong. Not gonna say if i do it or not though(;

nothing is wrong with you.

and by not feeling anything, if you mean an orgasm, its probably because your clitoris isnt being touched alot (sorry i dont know how to say that lol.)

its normal, your not the first or the last or the worst to masturbate, so you souldnt feel bad.

I know how you feel, I used to feel that way. It's perfectly normal to masturbate though and yes it's normal to not feel anything at first, but the more you do it the better it will get.

totally normal. everyonee does it, all my friends and I do. Just relax and know it's perfectly normal. if you didn't feel much then just google techniques and explore until you find something you like.

I suppose it could be normal to feel guilty but don't because it's natural and normal. There is nothing wrong with masturbating! Just relax and maybe don't look up at your posters next time.

nope that happen to me all the time but I just ignore it...think about it...they probably would do the same thing too!

ur normal..im turning 14 also
