What's the fastest way to lose weight?!

Question: What's the fastest way to lose weight?
I'm a 5'11" and 150 pound girl. I run everyday (sprinting and distance) and I workout and do ab stuff everyday. I usually don't eat sweets unless it's a birthday and I eat about 1500 calories a day, burning anywhere from 200-600 calories a day. But I haven't lost a pound in 2 weeks! I feel hopeless cuz I'm fat :/ any tips? I want to lose like 10-15 pounds cuz I feel pretty bad about my body.. Thanks!

Answers:

You've plateaued. Change up your routine. Make it harder. Wear weights when you run, run up hill. Use an elliptical. You burn twice the amount of calories on it verses walking/running. In order to lose one pound a week you have to burn 500 calories, at least. (500 per day × 7 days a week = 3,500 calories or 1 lb of fat).

If you don't change up what you're doing everyday your body gets used to it and doesn't work as hard at it.

Ok, you are probably one of those rare people like me whose body just shuts down on the weight loss from too much cardio.
Give yourself a 7 day break form cardio. Do your ab exercises and do weights, but a weeks rest from cardio. See if that gets you going again.

Cardiovascular workouts do burn a few calories, but far fewer than you think. And the more cardio you do, the hungrier you feel. Not only does cardio fail to help you lose weight, but it kills -- it kills your time, your energy, your joints, and your motivation. You burn a few measly calories but then eat twice as many afterward. The result? Weight gain -- and lots of it.
