Question: Will I get Any Taller? I'm 14 and Only 4'9"?
I've always been really short, and always behind when it comes to height. While most children get their first "growth spurt" when they're around five, I didn't get mine until I was seven. I'm not sure if it matters, but I got my period about two years ago, although I've never had the growth spurt that's common before that, and I've only grown three inches (4'6"-4'9") since then, while most girls I know grew at least half a foot between sixth and eighth grade.
Is it possible that my growth spurt is just late, or did I miss it? I don't mind being short, but I really wanted to at least hit the five feet mark...
I had my growth hormone checked when I was really little, about three, and they said it was a normal level. Could it have changed since then?

You'll probably grow another couple of inches. Maybe around the 5'-5'1 mark. Girls don't stop growing and developing until they are around the age of 18 so you have a few years to go.
Sleep required varies by age. Some teenagers may require up to 10 hours of sleep. The calcium in milk is very important, but keeping your body in the best of shape with exercise and eating from all of the five food groups is also very important.
My brother and I are among the tallest in the family and we ate lots of foods most wouldn't... salad, broccoli, lima beans, kidney beans... with decent portions of meat, bread, etc. Basically, the five food groups.
