I'm embarrassed of my period? Help!?!

Question: I'm embarrassed of my period? Help!?
So I woke up this morning to find literally my pad soaked and a layer of blood ON TOP of it. As I was sitting on the toilet changing my pad my vagina kept making these weird farting noises. After I put a NEW pad on I already have a big thing of blood! Is this just a REALLY heavy flow or what? I also have a party to go to today and I do not want to change it! I refuse. Please help! Any idea what to do? And tampons are out of the question! Help!

Yep.. I've been through this too. And those weird farting noises are called queefs.. Its totally normal. It happens when air is shoved up there. It does sound like your having a heavy flow morning, hopefully by this evening its lessened.
Try taking an easy, relaxing day. As for the party, put on a new pad before going and change it before you go home. During the party, go, as comfortable as you want, to the bathroom and clean yourself up. This will keep you smelling good and less blood on the pad.

I'm sorry to say, that its normal. There's not much you can do about it. Take a hot shower, lay down with a heating pad on your stomach, eat bananas they help reduce cramps. Chocolate, is also good. It releases endorphins in your body, making you feel good. You won't always have such a heavy flow, it just gets that way sometimes, usually at night. Be sure to stay clean and drink lots of water. Good Luck, and have fun at the Party!

experience.

Your flow is just really heavy right now. You should really look into tampons though, they boost your self esteem a lot. I was afraid of them when I was younger, but when I got the courage to put one in I felt so much better about myself. It's normal for your flow to change from day to day, just try tampons or thicker pads.
Hope you feel better sweetie <3
