I lost my virginity two months ago and I still haven't got my period?!

Question: I lost my virginity two months ago and I still haven't got my period?
We used a condom and he did ***. I've missed two periods now but I've heard that when you first have sex your period can be delayed. Is this true? Why?

sometimes your period can be delayed because of sex, that is most certainly true. BUT, it can also mean that you might be pregnant. I suggest going to the store, purchasing a pregnancy test, taking it in the morning like it says. (make sure you follow the directions correctly) Take the test and see what it says.

Stress or anxiety can delay your period (or bring it forward), so if you found the experience stressful, it could do by a few days or so. It is, of course, possible to get pregnant the first time you have sex, if protection is not used. This is much less likely at the end of the menstrual cycle, i.E. Just before the period, but it is still possible. So, in that sense, your period could end up being delayed by 9 months.
