Question: First period is heavy and that doesnt run in the family?

i thought i was going to be fine at school with a panyliner cuz my mom says my sis and her have very light periods so she gave me a few, right? well, by first period i saw just a little smear of blood on the seat and went to the bathroom and omg, the pantiliner was soaked and it was a mess so i asked to call my mom and we went to the store to get actual pads. its really heavy so i dont understand why i dont have a light one like the rest of the girls in my family.

Don't worry - everyone is different. Things, and periods, differ from girl to girl.

It depends on many things such as
-how much exercise you get (compared to how much they get)
-the foods you eat
-your stress levels

There are many factors, so every women is different! There is nothing wrong with you.

It's not the same with all women in families. My sisters get light periods, but me and my mom get heavy periods. It's normal. It might also be because it's your first period, or one of your first.
