for me, its itchy and unpleasant.

Razor burn razor burn razor burn.. It sucks to shave that. That's why most women wax despite the pain. I shave it still but only because I don't have the money to go get it waxed yet. But yeah it sucks :( try to avoid touching it as much as you can. I've never had problems with the genitals themselves but like the area above it is incredibly prone to irritation. I've heard there's products you can use that help prevent it, like bikini-zone I think it was called.. But generally the best way to go is waxing because of that razor burn. Just always use a really sharp razor and shaving gel, for me it usually it doesn't get bad unless I don't use a sharp razor, or the skin there gets rubbed too much after. Often times it's fine and nothing happens, but my skin has also had some time to get used to shaving. If it does get to that point where it's really uncomfortable the best thing to do is to stop shaving for a few days until the irritation goes away on it's own, then start over. I shave every two days despite how fast the hair grows because it's just such a hassle, and it can hurt. But I still think it's worth it overall.

If you use a razor, the skin will get puffy and red, it will itch a lot and hurt. Chances of ingrown hairs are very high when you do this.

An electric razor is a better option. It wont get as close of a shave, but it will still take off the hair with little to no discomfort to you, which usually is enough to please both people.

Waxing is usually the best option.

I tried it once. Never again. Once it starts to grow back, it'll feel like you've shoved sandpaper down there. The shaving itself is no problem. Shave in the direction of the hair and moisturise to avoid rash.

Just go with the grain only. Its not gonna be perfectly bald but works well - you have to wax for that but it avoids bumps and ingrown hairs... and that ninja chick? You don't shave your pits or legs huh?

the hair is there for a reason. I wouldn't recommend shaving there,it's really uncomfortable, esp. as it grows back.
