How good is u by kotex as a menstrual pad brand?!


Question: How good is u by kotex as a menstrual pad brand?
I know that most ppl use u by kotex but I always here about the pads leaking or absorbing too slowly. I've had many pms symptoms the past year and they've gotten stronger this last month so I have a feeling that I will be getting my first period soon. I just want to know if u by kotex is a good brand and if not then what prams should I use. I also would like to know what brand tampons I should use and if u can pls describe how to insert a tampon. Anything is help. Thx;)!

I've never used them but, as far as other brands I LOVE Always Infinity. They absorb so quick and don't crunch when you walk. I wear the overnight size all the time, not just at night. The extra length means no butt checks. I've never leaked with them. Wings are a must. They keep the pad in place so, no bunching.

A lot of women leak at night because the menses follows the curve of their body and the leak occurs at the top of the panty, when laying on their backs. To solve this, I put panty liners at the end of the pad. I have yet to leak, knock on wood, with them there. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y286/to…

For now, stock up on pads and liners. I didn't try tampons for a year and two months after my first period. Start wearing liners now to get used to them and to avoid an accident in case your first period is heavy. I only spotted at school, the flow happened at night.
