Question: Can anyone help me with a period problem?
I have been on my period for about 3 weeks straight now. I have had clotting the whole time too. The past week or so I have had a headache that won't go away. Anyone have any idea what could be going on?
For background purposes I had a baby 7 months ago and 6 weeks after she was born I got on the birth control Implonon.
Just wanted to see if anyone has any ideas. I can't afford to go to the doctor for another couple of weeks.

Well try to get some kind of help. This is very very serious. Do you have county health care?
It could be a hormone imbalance. I've been on my period for over 5 months now. (Yes, I am going to a doctor, and no I'm not too worried about it) and my problem is just a hormone imbalance. My body doesn't create the hormones that tell me when to start or stop my period.
Since you just recently started a new birth control and had a baby then it could be a hormone imbalance that will straighten out after your body is completely used to being un-pregnant and on birth control.
Other than that I'm not sure what it could be,I'm not a doctor. But I hope this helps.
