10 and i first saw brown stains on the thursday night n thort "hmm thats strange" then the next mornin i was on and i didnt know what to do so had to get my mum up early to help me. sposed to be on now but its taking forever

I remember that day (long ago) well. I felt what were cramps but thought I had to go to the bathroom and when I sat down I saw blood in my panties. I panicked. I thought I was bleeding from my rear. Then when I put the toilet paper there and there was no blood I put the toilet paper between my legs and it was there so I too used toilet paper. Then I came out of the bathroom to tell my mother what had just happened and I said (in a scared voice) "mom"?? mom?? And she YELLED "what the hell do you want"? I hung my head and said "nothing" and walked away. I called a friend she told me what was going on and gave me some what were called at the time mini pads. Turns out I didnt tell my abusive mother for a while after I got my first period. I hope your first experience was at least one your mother cared about or that you were able to ask her any questions you had. I have my period now and the cramps suck but not as bad as they did when I was a young teen. But I do remember my friend in school forcing ME to go ask at the office for a pad! She was so embarrassed as the office was FILLED with guys! Of course none of the vending machines ever worked AND if ya didnt have 50 cents>? They wouldnt give ya one!

I got mine when i was nine and it was at a party for my church at our house. My adoptive mom kept the door open (she was over 600 pounds and had trouble fitting in the bathroom) and screemed at me to wipe because she didnt beleave me. Everyone came around the corner (including my six sisters and the men from the church) and watched me wipe and get yelled at. Yeah most messed up story every right? Its true tho. but my best friend was hilarious.
we were 12 and on a school trip together to Paris, i was waiting for her outside the toilet, and she screamed "TASH, GET IN HERE NOW"
shortly followed by her pointing to blood in her underwear and screaming "WHAT THE F*** IS THAT?"
and then she started crying
it was hilarious.

I was at church camp First time to be away from Family except a weekend. this was 17 days of summer camp. Friday night I was the youngest in my Bunkhouse. Where the receptionist took me to the employ bathroom and got me washed up ,laundred ,and back in prime condition, with a tampon in place and a pocket full of them for later. we had wasted 6 teaching me to use them.
