Question: Is my birth control effective?

I started my birth control at the end of January. And Ive been a few hours late on some nights and about two weeks ago I forgot to take a pill so I had to take 2 the next day and a few days ago i forgot to take a pill AGAIN and had to take 2 yesterday. With all these days taking it late and forgetting to take it, is it effective or not?
