Why are young girls getting preggo?!

Because they are having sex!!!
TV shows and Society have made it acceptable to get pregnant at 16 - and have your family raise your baby --
Years ago there would be such a stigma on the girl's reputation and the baby's being born a "bastard" - that it was not accepted in polite society ---
Now - TV and movies show how "cool" it is to be an unwed mother-- and the word 'bastard" has no legal or societal negativity attached to it --
The lack of morals is degrading our society ---this is an example -

yep, i agree with miami. slutty girls do it cuz they want attention. And yeah, 16 and pregnant glamorizes teen pregnancies and makes them look like fun. Im 13, and i know that i would screw up my life if i got preggo

Because of the media.
People think its cool to have sex at like 12 but it's really stupid.
I'm a freshman in high school and there are 6th and 7th graders who have done more than I have ever considered!
Also that's all guys want these days, so girls just give in hoping it makes them like her when it doesn't.

It's because these girls have a spoiled lifestyle. There parents don't set boundaries and let them do anything without thinking. For some girls, they want attention, guys, or just sex. They think ''But that couldn't happen to me'' or ''But I didn't know!''. Girls should wait until marriage, that way it is planned out and they have a legal bind.

they must think if they are old enuf to bleed, then they are old enuf to have sex

Girls think its cool now to do stuff like that, also many (including myself) feel pressured by media, peers and boys to do things.

Because they do not think Pregnancy will happen to them! Or too lazy to use protection!! If you are sexually active, birth control is the way to go!
