Wear a padded bra. That use to happen to me, too, until one day i got a padded one! they help so much btter!

You can't do anything to prevent it, but try wearing a thicker bra (I don't mean one that's padded) or put bandaids over them.
Don't know how to prevent it, but padding in a bar can hide it. Unless you were cold, then next time try a jacket or sweater.
