Question: Girls please help me out...?
Ok soo my friend asked me if i had discharge right and i sed yes and i go that means your going to get your period soon and she sed its nothing to do with your period....
is that true everyone it telling me that it is but she wont belive me.
she sed her mum told her that and she sed that its not because my other friend got her period and she only got her discharge for a few months before getting it...

Well, TECHNICALLY it really doesn't have to do with your period. It's just your vagina's natural way of cleaning itself. That's really all it is. But typically your discharge will seem a little different leading up to your period (like, it's usually a little more gooey when you're ovulating).

But, when it comes to the order that things usually start up during puberty, you will usually always get discharge before your period starts up. But it doesn't really have anything specifically to do with your period. It's just yet another one of those annoying things that we have to deal with as girls.



It's nothing to do with your period.

Discharge is something all women get from puberty up until menopause, starting to get discharge is one of the many things that happens when you go through puberty - like growing breasts, pubic hair, gaining weight, getting taller, and getting your period. Discharge and your first periods are both part of puberty, it doesn't mean that discharge is a sign of your first period it just happens that you start to get discharge and your periods within a few years of each other as part of puberty.

you do get discharge before your period .
sometimes it will be a year before , sometimes a couple months . but its true .

:) you can get a discharge if you are aroused also, but yes you can get it before your period as well. Is the discharge clear?
