of course it is normal
just don't feel shy to ask
feel free to express as she is your mom and she is the only one who can help you in this matter
(well a sister is also helpful)

Of course it's normal. That's how periods are supposed to be. It sucks but...sadly, it happens.

Anyways, you just need to pull your mom aside and tell her that you started your period. Or you can write her a note, and leave it in a place that will be easy and quick for her to find.

By the way, using toilet paper, or tissue, doesn't work very well to soak up period blood. Tissue tends to dissolve when it's wet.

it is very normal periods differ from day to day month to month and person to person

you should tell your mom just pull her to the side text her or leave a note
its something all us girls/women go thru i was embarrassed and still am to this day about it

and yes cheers welcome to womanhood

Pull your mom aside and ask her. I'm sure it's perfectly normal, some people have a heavy flow and you didn't have anything at night to catch it. I suggest you invest in pads or tampons. If it's your first time I say you should wait a while before you start to use tampons.

told your mom and use precautions
