Will my period stop in water? womens health?!

Question: Will my period stop in water? womens health?
do you think my period will stop in a pool? i noticed when i shower i dont bleed, sometimes i bleed the SLIIIIIIIIGHTEST bit, then i start bleeding again about 15 minutes after i get out. so, will it stop in a pool? then i wouldnt need a tampon

Answers:

NO, it doesn't STOP when you get into water. You're still bleeding, even in the shower, you just don't notice it as much, because it's very diluted. If you sit in a tub for 20 or 30 minutes, you'll notice it. I was a swimmer in middle school and high school. I wore tampons while I was on my period and didn't have any problems. It's kinda unsanitary NOT to wear a tampon in a pool, especially since most pools are PUBLIC POOLS.

experience

it is a known fact that your period stops in water. but yes you will need a tampon for when you get out because it satrts again shortly after you get out of the water.
from my experiance when i was over my friends house i didnt use a tampon in the pool and i didnt bleed the entire time but as we were walking back up to her house it started again...
you should use a tampon if you dont want ANY blood in you bikini bottoms and if it is a long walk but if it will only take a few seconds to get back in the house then o to the bathroom and put a tampon in AS SOON as you are done.
good luck=)

It will not stop in water.

It might slow down a lot, but if you're going swimming, it's best to wear a tampon.

Use a tampon just to be on the safe side:)
