Question: HELP ABOUT PERIOD?? tampon? brown discharge?
okay so i got my period saturday, 2 days ago, and it sstarted out with brown discharge and then i had a little blood but ya the flow was Very light and todya i have swim practice and i no this might be TMI but i have the brown discharge again and it kind of has an odor. is this bad? and is my period over with like the blood?? and i tried to use a tampon and it just hurts too much and i cant do it. can i go swimming withougt one?

My period often starts, and ends, with brown discharge. Don't go swimming without a tampon, the blood and discharge will float around in the water and be gross
Brown: May happen right after periods, and is just "cleaning out" your vagina. Old blood looks brown.
Spotting Blood/Brown Discharge: This may occur when you are ovulating/mid-cycle. Sometimes early in pregnancy you may have spotting or a brownish discharge at the time your period would normally come. If you have spotting at the time of your normal period rather than your usual amount of flow, and you have had sex without using birth control, you should check a pregnancy test.

My discharge / blood tends to be brown at the very start and end of my period. You may be coming off.
