Discharge Ruining Underwear--Can't Use Panty Liner?!

Question: Discharge Ruining Underwear--Can't Use Panty Liner?
I can't stand underwear discharge, and I know that I should wear a panty liner--but there is no way that I want to tell my step mom about this! I've purposely left stained underwear on my floor hoping that she'd notice, but she tells me to pick it up. To show how uncomfortable I'd be with asking, my grandmother is the person that bought me my first bra. Please, advice on this? I know that discharge is normal, blah. Would putting toilet paper in my underwear perhaps work?

go to the drugstore with 5 bucks, and go to lady products, they sell pantyliners, really thin ones by the dozen, or tell them, you see they are also women, have periods, and completely uderstand

Your not embaresed to leave dirty stained underwear on the floor but your embaressed to ask your stepmom to buy u pantyliners??? weird.
Uhmm i think you shoul just buy them yourself if it is that big of a deal. You can get thong shaped panty liners, that is what i use. They are very thin and unnoticable..

p.s DO NOT try toilet paper in the underwear. I had a friend who started her period in junior high and put a bunch of toilet paper and by walking throughout the day the toilet paper had made its way up the back of the pants and ended up sticking out so everyone could seee. She was made fun of for a long time for that.

Go to the store and buy your own liners. If you're comfortable leaving dirty, stained underwear lying around for anyone to see, you shouldn't have a problem buying your own products. Eventually you're going to start your period, what's your plan there? To just bleed all over all the furniture until someone buys you some tampons? It's time to get over being embarrassed over normal body functions and start doing something about it.

Okay I had this problem too,/:
It's not that good of an idea to use toilet paper. Use pantyliners. It may not be comfy to ask your mom for some, maybe ask your grandma. Also, if your at the store ask. " hey mom, I have to get something, is it fine?" or something along those lines.
& also umm no, don't leave your undies on the ground., just dont. Just be confident and ask. She probably will understand! Hope I helped.(:

ask your grandfather for panty-liner, if he cared about the bra he'll care about this.
P.S. Giggity

go to shoppers and buy your own panty liners instead of a bag of chips

First off, one of the reasons we wear underwear is to avoid getting anything on outer clothing- so It is serving one of it's original purposes before pantyliners were even a thing. Discharge is normal for most females unless it happens daily. Constant or yellowish discharge can be a sign of other issues, but not always. Unless it is menstrual blood discharge it should come off your underwearin the wash. I obviously don't know your family situation but if you would feel comfortable you should ask for either 1. money to purchase a few boxes of feminine pads, and use some of the money to purchase pantyliners or "lightday" liners. Or try to get up the courage to ask your step-mom to pick them up for you, she may never know until you ask her- You could even write a little note to give her asking her to pick this up for you. If these options just don't work, then yes, a little folded up toilet paper can certainly do the trick until you are able to do your own shopping- its been used by many woman in emergency situations. I hope you know that even if you have no one to talk to about feminine issues there are lots of us ladies experiencing the joys and woes of being a woman alongside of you.
