Question: I really need your help! pleasee?
hi, okay so i am 14 and the other night i was at a friends house and i gave this kid dome and now my throat hurts. It hurt the next day and it still does now, it has been 4 days since i gave him it and it still hurts really bad. Yesterday morning i woke up and it hurt terribly and my nose was so stuffy and runny. Could this all be a coincidence that i am sick or did i catch something from him? My mom is taking me to the doctors because she thinks i have strep throat and i really need help because this will be so embarrassing if it is not strep..please! :) or did i catch something from him oh and also my friend had a cold thing but i tried staying away from her, could i hae got sick from her?

While sexually transmitted infection can be received through oral sex the general consensus is that by and large it isn't very easy, certainly not through one act.

Colds take time to develop in your system before you see symptoms, this is called an incubation period. If you had a saw throat immediately after giving "dome" it's likely you had caught the bug beforehand.

Going to the doctors for a check up is no bad thing, but I'd put money on him just telling you it's a cold/something unrelated. Don't worry about it.

As a side note, remember to try and stick to the age of consent for sexual conduct and regardless practice safe sex.
