underage sex with 18 year old, can I go to the police?!

Question: Underage sex with 18 year old, can I go to the police?
when I was 14, on new years eve, i had sex with my 18 year old, kind of ex, at first i said i wanted to, but then i kept telling him maybe another time, but he came and met me anyways, i never actually said no or stop to him.

but anyways, i was speaking to a woman who works with the child protection team for the police and I told her what happened with us, and she said i can still get him done for it because he full well knew how old I was.

he lied and pretended to like me again that night, just so i would have sex with him, and then stopped talking to me a few days after and got into a relationship....

the police woman makes me to get his prosocuted for it, but i just feel bad....

I feel like I would only be doing it to get back at him for pretending to like me...

what should i do?

thanks so much x

Well Danny - I'm not sure. Having homosexual sex with an 18 yr old is probably something you can report, if it were non-consensual. But it's not exactly a "Womans Health" question...now is it?

Or did becoming a "girl for a day" like you did last month become a habit?

> I looked at your PULSE profile. You can't hide it. Your NOT a girl. Sorry. Just delete the question, and save yourself some embarrassment. That would be my suggestion.

you never said no to him soo..yeah that would actually ruin his life don't do something like that oh my God. it would be on his permanent record that he raped a minor. employers would be like omg he raped a baby and it clearly wasn't like that he didn't rape you.

Do whatever you think's right. I'm not sure it would be getting back at him, it's a serious matter, not a childish fight. I'd go ahead with it, but it's your issue, and you should confront it whatever way you deem right.

Good Luck xxx

You can get him arrested, even if it is consensual, it is statutory rape. But, if you do get him arrested, he will be a child rapist for the rest of his life....

tell the police if anything happens like that for now.. and 18?! GOD. did ur parents even know?!

really you are gay. so it doesnt rally matter what happenes. cuz most pepole dont take "questions like these" expaisclaly cming rom a gay dude, serisouly. he didnt rape you. so thats not a charge.

see a therpist and figure out what ur on here asking questions like this. sounds like u are still young and immature so really u need help from the profeensional people not from the police.

ur not a girl: IM danny_simon96 (thats not even close to a girls name. ur pulse says ur a male as well. so yes ur a man and that should go in mens health and really no on here in the first place cuz its sounds like a troll anyways

I don't think that's very fair, honestly. If you never said no or asked him to stop I don't think it is really fair to go and try to sue him. I mean, if this has caused you emotional/mental stress or anxiety then yeah, maybe that would be a good course of action. If this was just some fling, then yes he was in the wrong in copulating with a minor, but I don't see how a lawsuit is going to make you feel better about feeling "used".
On the flip side to this you're 14. You don't need to be worrying about relationships anyways. Relationships are stressful commitments that should wait until you're older. Focus on school and figuring out who you are. Leave sex for when you're older and ready for it, lots of things can happen that will permanently change your life.
Good luck on whatever you decide.

I'm collaberating with a friend... I'm 21, she is 26, both in nursing school.
We've lived life a little.
