i have pcos and didnt get period for a while?!

Question: I have pcos and didnt get period for a while?
since i was probably 15 or so, i started getting irregular periods
Around 17 my doctor told me that I have PCOS
but i was still getting my periods- usually missing a month here and there
then i believe from last october till now i havent had my period
and im really worried
my doctor gave me metformin to take before but i never took them and i still got my periods, but now they havent been coming for about 4 months...
what can this be?

theres no way i can be pregnant for sureeee
btw...i have been struggling with weight all my life but im not reallly fat

anyone can help me and tell me why its like this all of a sudden?

people with PCOS usually have irregular or no periods. this is normal for them.

if your are really worried, you should consult your family doctor.

hope this helps.

my sister also has pcos and has the same problem with weight and irregular periods there's really nothing to worry about the longest she went without a period was almost a year its very common to have long periods without a period having pcos
