AM I HEALTHY (5 STARS + 10 PONTS FORBESTANSWER)?!

Question: AM I HEALTHY (5 STARS + 10 PONTS FORBESTANSWER)?
Do i need to exercise everyday? Am i healthy....?
Hi everyone i have been on a 946 calorie diet that consists of 30% fats, 15% protein, and carbs 55%. I used www.livestrong.com to record my calories. I also have stopped drinking soda, juice, and milk (i use almond milk instead and lots of water (8 glasses)) I have stuck with this diet for a week and i can do it. 3 days ago i got a scale that calculates my weight, water weight, fat weight, bone mass, and muscle mass. I record my weight now everyday.

Feb 20-165 pounds
Feb 21-164 pounds

no, it is NOT healthy. your low calorie intake will cause your body to go into "starvation mode," which at some point, will cause your body to hang on to the calories and fat. this can likely make you gain weight when your body does this.

you are 14 years old, and your body is still growing. your height may be stunted from such a low caloric intake. going below 1200 calories is not advisable, especially for someone still growing.

also, you could use more protein. if you eat lean, healthy protein, your body is more efficient at burning fat. one thing that helped me was drinking a protein drink that also had a lot of vitamins. there are some that have little fat and low calories.

seeing a dietitian can make sure you are getting a healthy amount of calories and nutrients, without causing problems or deficiencies.

Oh my goodness yes you are. I think so. I'm 13 turning 14 in November and i weigh 120. But weight is not what you are asking for. But I think you are healthy enough.

Sure.

5 whole stars?? And 10 WHOLE points!! Whoo hoo!! (like you have any choice?)

just have a lot of milk and a lay down
