Question: How Much Weight Should I Lose?
I am 5'2"

I want to look REALLY good. I wont get offended if you tell me to lose a lot.

I hope the picture is alright to tell from.

your not fat at all. What i suggest is to just focus on being healthier and more active. Don't go on a extreme diet or anything.

Ideas to help you shed a few pounds:
use stairs instead of elevators

trade juice or soda for some flavored water(tastes good, but with a lot less calories)

Carry around healthy snacks to eat like apples , carrot sticks, nut mix. So you won't have an excuse to take a trip to Mcdonalds or a vending machine full of chips and candy for a snack

Set a weekly goal for about 1-2 pounds, don't be discouraged if you don't meet your goal.Stress only makes things worse.And studies have shown that people with a positive attitude tend to lose weight faster than ones stressed.

have 6 smaller meals throughout your day , instead of the standard 3 big meals

DON'T skip important meals like breakfast! You are more likely to cheat or binge later.

Tell other people about your goal.If you have the support and pressure to do succeed , you're more likely to follow through with your plans.

Instead of frying chicken , bake or grill it

plan to work out at least 30 minutes 3 times a week

get plenty of sleep and rest

when going out to eat, ask for a box right away and put half of it away.As most restaurants give you way more than your stomach actually needs and your more likely to over eat when there is a huge plate in front of you.

Also while at a restaurant , avoid appetizers and high fattening desserts .If you do get an appetizer , that is OK. Just remember to share it with lots of friends, appetizers are often over 600 cal!

And one of the most important things to remember are. One - You are beautiful no matter what shape or size you are!You have the right to be confident and proud of yourself , don't let anyone tell you other wise!

Two-Never look for the easy way out!They often times don't work and are very bad for you. And the few that do make you lose weight , lead you to gain a bunch of excessive weight after you go back to a regular diet.So why not do it the healthy way the first time, when it you will only be healthier and thinner in the long run?

It's a pretty crummy picture...I'd say don't lose any.

TRUST ME...the whole "thin is in" image is a total myth. I'm not saying you're fat, but you will find that there are guys who will find 220 lb girls as utterly sexy as 120 lbs.

I'm 6'3, broad shouldered, and people often ask if I'm a bouncer or football player...I won't date a girl who's skinny, not ever. I want a girl with wide hips, a soft belly, and a real feminine figure...guys who want some super-skinny girl are just following the trends, which are often set by gay fashion designers. TRUST ME...there are lots of guys - not just creeps - who want a round girl, not a skinny girl. Round and soft=sexy and feminine.
