I have been on the pill for 4 years, I switched to the shot and so far I love it. I haven't experienced any side effects, except the swelling at injection site. It is great to not have to remember a pill every day. Good Luck, also talk to your Dr about the newer version of the shot, its about half the hormones of the older one.
when i was starting bc, my doctor told me that the shot is linked to weight gain and the pill is NOT. but all bc has side effects so you should see a doctor and not people on y!a
