Please please PLEASE don't say you just want to get it over with. You should cherish your virginity...Obviously there are some issues going on here. You say it's not because of anyone's influence but it this was really true you wouldn't be trying to hard.
I don't understand how you won't want to make this a special thing with someone you love. Trust me. I was exactly like you. I had an offer with a guy a liked. And I was like why not? However I really thought about it and talked about it with my friends, I ended up losing all of my friendships because of it. Luckily I realized before anything happened. A little more then a year later I met an amazing guy, and yes we have had sex and it was a beautiful thing because we LOVE each other.

I would seriously consider enrolling into a local college or community college's Human Sexuality class before deciding to do this. Sex is a beautiful and wonderful thing, and I just don't want you to ruin you sexuality before it even starts.
It's a proven fact that the first time you have sex should be with someone you care about because they put "pleasure" spots on your body and it will feel better then when anyone after touches you a certain way.

Also one wrong move and you can end up with and STD or become pregnant (yes, i realize abortion is there, and i would never take away your right to one however it can cause you to have miscarriages in the future because it stretches out the part of your body that keeps a fetus inside).

Why would you want to risk your life for something you should be keeping safe anyways?

Maybe you 'get all of that' because it's good advice; ever consider that? However, if you really want to do this, go to the 'someone in mind' and tell him you want to do it and you want it to be him. However, be prepared that he will tell his best 2, 3 or 15 friends who will then all be hitting on you. But, hey, you'll have already lost it, so why not enjoy it?

Why? If you don't want to be known as a virgin, just lie about it. Read some novels with sex scenes, so you can talk a good fight. Nobody's going to turn you upside down to look!

For the experience? If you just seek an impersonal encounter to "get it over with", it won't be at all pleasant. Who's been feeding you that propaganda?

Well, if you're that anxious to join the rest of the sluts out there, just work on your looks. Sooner or later someone will ask you for dates, want to be your boyfriend, and ask you to go to bed with him.
