There is barely a spot on the pad, yet I have a heavy period?!

Question: There is barely a spot on the pad, yet I have a heavy period?
I started my period on Monday, and since then, there is barely any blood on the pad, but when I pee there is blood, and clots, it pretty much looks like a crime scene in the bathroom. Why isn't there much blood on the pad, but I have a moderately heavy cycle?

Answers:

Hmm, interesting. Every time you changer your pad, why don't you try washing yourself down there too. Also you want to wear tight and firm pants/panties during your period and make sure your pad i adjusted correctly. (Oh and the crime scene joke mead me lol)

this has happened to me before. Give it another day or two, the clood should start showing up. And if it doesn't, you can always ask your doctor.

I'm just guessing, but I think the blood is clotting in your vagina. Either that, or something is blocking it from coming out.
