Question: Ok so I just got a call from my GYN about my Pap smear?
She says I have abnormal cells and I need to do a colposcopy to see if it is cancerous. Has anyone had this problem before? was it cancer? Thanks in Advance

personally I have never had that problem but I do know that sometimes pap smears may turn out abnormal and there may not be anything wrong... the test is given to make sure that everything is o.k... It could have been from an fluid filled cyst, previous douching, etc.. just relax and don't miss your next appt and I believe everything will be fine.
I can't guarantee that it isn't cancer but most of the time, it turns out to be something minor. It happened to me and they didn't find anything. Good luck.
