Orgasms for women are a lot different to men's, for a woman to orgasm it is more than just the feeling and the lead up, its in the head too. Sometimes people find that they want the orgasm to come to much and anticipate its arrival, it can actually stress the body and make you miss the arrival, so it instantly calms down your body and it acts like it has already had the orgasm, which could be causing the hurting. As for the burning, it might be a build up of friction and that is what is causing your vagina to hurt, that can also stop you from orgasming. Another reason for the hurting might be that your partner may be going in to deep and hitting your cervix, which can be uncomfortable.

My advice would be firstly: too feel really comfortable with the person you are having sex with and just enjoy it, just let the orgasm come on its own and don't over think the situation, that's when it can cause problems. I may also advice that you go see a gyno if the problem persists and ask them about the burning, because it could be more than friction. It could be that you have an infection.

Also some tips for reducing friction would be to make sure that you are fully wet and maybe try using some lube, remember condoms provide that added barrier between the rubbing skin, so i would definitely consider using them, even if you are using other birth control. It will also stop you passing on an infection or your partner passing one on to you. Also different positions can help too, along with some different movements, eg. fast then slow. Not all just the one speed, if you understand?

Anyway i wish you luck!
