Question: When is a period considered missed? 10 points best answer!!! plz help me!!:(?
I last got my period febuarary 7th-13th i should have gotten it on the 6th or 7th of last week... it is now the 17th and i still have not gotten it. I am not pregnant i have never had sex but i just want to know if i missed it or if its late. I exercise about 4 days a week skating for about 1 hour and 30 minutes and then i do 5-10 minutes of abs almost every night and try to stretch every night. I have three times this week for about 45 minutes ( i just started running/jogging this week) I weigh 103 pounds, im five feet tall 15 years old and i have had my period for a year and a half now. I eat about 1000 to 1200 calories a day. I could be stressed out because of planning my vacation for this next week and could still be stressed out cuz of not getting my period!
So did i miss it or is it just late.. its very important because im going to puerto rico next wednesday!! 10 points for best answer.

Answers:

At your age, a period isn't really missed. It is common for someone your age to go months without a period because it is still getting to be regular (even if you think it is regular). However, your increased exercise routine may have thrown it off. This is normal and it is only cause to worry if you go several months without it.

I am going to make a note though, that you should be eating more than 1000 to 1200 calories especially because you are still growing. If you exercise too much and eat too little you may end up losing your period all together. Try to eat 1500 calories at least.

Well it could be late for a couple of reasons for you:
1.) Stress.
2.) Change in diet.
3.) Exercise.

Calm down about it and just be prepared and it will come if you keep worrying about it then it will most likely take longer. Good luck :)
