Are 40 day cycles normal for 14 year olds?!

Question: Are 40 day cycles normal for 14 year olds?
I'm 14, 15 in June. I'm a late bloomer, just got my first period in November. Each cycle after that has been exactly between 39 or 40 days long. My periods usually last 7-8 days but they are light. Is that okay? I expect my next one in 10 days, it has already been 30. I don't even get PMS or cramps or anything during my period. Normal? PS I'm really active.

Answers:

my period right now is going on 39 days but who knows maybe i missed it.. but its perfectly normal to have that long of a cycle since you said your are very active if you don't eat a lot of sweets that could also be a factor. And i don't get cramps either and i know a couple of other people who don't everyone has different symptoms. I was late bloomer too and mine is relatively light also. Your period seems completely normal to me!
