Why can't people see that male doctors doing internal examinations on women is a legal form of violation? There are a good number of women out there that do not trust the male brain, no matter how many certificates he has on the wall, and rightly so. I'm sure male doctors don't like to look at the nasty stuff, but the young, pretty, healthy women make up for it. It baffles me when some of these attractive, healthy women go to a male doctor for their yearly check up, thinking that medical school has taken the "man" out of him. If women truly understood how men look at attractive women then they wouldn't fall for the old myth that, "He's seen so many it does not affect him." Your letting a stranger not only look and touch you, but he even gets to open you up and look inside. The whole thing turns my stomach, and women havn't got the common sense to know that this is a legal form of violation. Even if the female doctor was a lesbian, which is very rare, women are not as easily turned on as what men are. Men are turned on my sight and touch. Ok, I'm ready for your insults lol.

I'm a female and completely agree with you. In the past I have refused to go to male drs. I have to now beacuse there are only men doctor's who deliver babies at the hospital that I have been assigned to...but I agree completely. I don't want some random guy down there poking around. I have many friends that prefer male doctors. I just don't get it.

I have been to a female doctor who was nearly twice my age, I had to have a lump on my testes checked. Everything was in full view, but I did not see it as anything sexual and neither did she.

You are making great generalizations about men being gynecologists, they are there to do a job not to check out the women coming into their room for examination. It is also the womans choice as to wether she wishes to see a male or not.

Well you've obviously spent a great deal of time thinking about this non-problem. Why so het up? What makes you so cerain that women are not as easly turned on as men. What if a female doctor had a naked Brad Pitt or a naked George Clooney on their exaination table. Do you honestly think she wouldn't momentarily think 'hmmmmm'?
No insults - just think you are doing all the insults towards men, towards women and towards the medical profession.

I am guessing you are still VERY young...and if you are not, you are VERY immature...and probably without any experience at all.

Emotionally mature people do not sexualize everything around them, including their doctors or patients. Familiarity does make people less sensitive to things...if you saw a guy laying on the ground, his belly cut wide open, and you had to stick your hands into his guts to keep them from falling out, could you do it without puking? A doctor could.

So, just because YOU don't have certain qualities or abilities doesn't mean that the rest of us are the same way.
