Terrible vaginal pain please help!?!

Question: Terrible vaginal pain please help!?
I can't sleep it's driving me crazy. All I feel is burning and stinging down there and like I just wanna rip it apart. It's also itchy but the pain bothers me more. It seems to be coming from a certain area. When I urinate, it stings a bit and the pain gets worse. I've had lots of bladder infections when I was younger and although the symptoms sound like it, I do not believe this is the same thing. Is this an STI? What should I do?! I don't wanna go to the doctor because they'll ask if I've been sexually active and I don't wanna tell my mom. I'm so scared

Answers:

Urinary tract infections can get as bad as you're describing. They can make you extremely miserable, exactly as you're describing.
You really need to see your doctor so that you can get started on some antibiotics so that you can start getting well. You can't just let it go like this.
Why would your doctor ask if you're sexually active, especially in front of your mom? Most doctors I have worked with have enough sense not to ask their young patients that in front of a parent.

Sounds like yeast infection, you need to get a remedy from the hygiene area of your local grocer. It's not cheap, but it could also be an STD. Gonorhea, or syphilis. Most likely yeast infection, the other two will generally have discharge. Make sure your bf washes his dick n balls before intercoarse, and use a condom, before your next question is regarding vomiting in the morning, and your period being late. Stop trying to be sneaky about stuff like this with your mom, she knows already at some point you will be sexually active, it's nature, be open and honest, she will be with you also, and keep you healthy. Lying makes her more angry than truth.

You could always go to a pharmacist and tell them your symptoms, they could recommend you something. No need for your mom to know about it.

It does sound a bit like a urinary tract infection though, I suggest you get some cranberry juice as it's good for you if you do have UTI, it helps that area.

go see your gp , could be an std/sti , thrush or a uti
